Al Ashoosh is considered one of the important archaeological sites in the Emirate of Dubai. The site dates back to the Bronze Age, specifically the late third millennium BCE. Archaeological excavations have uncovered a collection of cooking ovens of various sizes, constructed from stone fragments and lined with clay. Large quantities of animal bones, finely crafted flint arrowheads, remains of softstone vessels, and a seal believed to be among the oldest discovered at the site have also been found, along with everyday tools made of stone.
