Under the patronage of Al Qasimia University in the Emirate of Sharjah, the College of Arts and Humanities has announced its annual competition for the tenth consecutive year, the "Fursan Al Qira'a" (Reading Knights) competition, which coincides with the Month of Reading (March) each year under the slogan: "The UAE Reads." Students of Al Qasimia University in the Emirate of Sharjah participate in this competition, which aims to develop reading skills among university students and to embed reading within the educational system. The competition's theme revolves around summarizing the book: "Tell Them It Is Here... In Search of the Queen of Maliha" by Her Highness Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi, may God protect her. The submitted works are reviewed by a specialized academic committee for judging. The university offers generous cash prizes for the winners of the first three places and also awards certificates of appreciation for positions four through ten.
