الشِّيص في الغِبَّه حِلو» من الأمثال البحرية الإماراتية. الشِّيص: نوع من التمر غير الناضج أو الرديء. الغِبَّه: تُشير إلى غيبة الغواصين في رحلات الغوص الطويلة. كان الغواصون يحملون معهم تمر الشِّيص كزادٍ بسيط لغوصهم، وعلى الرغم من رداءة نوعه، فقد كانوا يجدونه طيبًا وحلوًا عند الحاجة. يضرب المثل للتعبير عن أن الحاجة تجعل الإنسان يرضى بالقليل ويعتبره كافيًا
