السردال

هو القائد العام لموسم الغوص على اللؤلؤ في الخليج العربي. كان دوره كبيرًا لأنه يحدد بداية موسم الغوص ونهايته، وينسق بين جميع النواخذة والسفن. السردال يتمتع بخبرة طويلة في البحر ومعرفة واسعة بالرياح والتيارات البحرية والمواسم، لذلك يحظى باحترام كبير من أهل البحر. مسؤوليته لا تقتصر على تحديد الوقت اليومي لنزول إلى البحر و وقت انتهاء الرحلة اليومية، بل يشمل تنظيم عمل البحارة وضمان التزام الجميع بالقوانين البحرية التقليدية. كان السردال بمثابة المرجع الأعلى، فإذا حدث خلاف بين النواخذة أو البحارة كان يُرجع إليه لحل النزاع. كذلك، كانت له سلطة رمزية واجتماعية كبيرة لأنه يمثل قيادة جماعية لكل أهل البحر. تاريخيًا، ارتبط السردال بالاقتصاد البحري في الإمارات لأنه ساعد على تنظيم رحلات الغوص التي كانت مصدر الرزق الرئيسي قبل النفط. أدواته كانت بسيطة لكنه اعتمد على العلم التقليدي بالنجوم والطقس. شخصية السردال تعكس قيم القيادة، الخبرة، والمسؤولية الجماعية في المجتمع البحري. وهو عنصر مهم من ذاكرة الإمارات البحرية.

Continuity and Intergenerational Transmission: The element is passed from one generation to the next, either orally through stories, songs, and narratives, or practically through training and hands-on practice. This living process ensures the element’s survival and development over time, while maintaining its connection to its cultural roots.
