الثريا

الثريا عنقود نجمي شهير يظهر في السماء كأنه سحابة خفيفة متلألئة، ويمكن رؤية سبعة من نجومه بالعين المجردة، ولذلك ارتبط في التراث الشعبي بالمواسم والتقويم الزراعي والبحري. وتظهر الثريا في الأفق الشرقي قبيل الفجر مع بداية يونيو، ويُعد طلوعها إيذانًا بدخول موسم القيظ وشدة الحر ونشاط رياح البوارح، لذلك كانت من أهم العلامات الزمنية التي يعتمد عليها الناس قديماً في معرفة تغير الفصول. ويرتبط ظهور الثريا بموسم “المقايظ”، حيث ينتقل الناس إلى مناطق النخيل والحضر والسواحل هرباً من حرارة الداخل، كما تتزامن مع بداية ظهور بواكير الرطب التي يطلق عليها الأهالي “البشارة”، لما تحمله من دلالات الخير واقتراب موسم جني الثمار. ولذلك احتلت الثريا مكانة خاصة في حياة المزارعين والبحارة والرعاة، الذين اعتمدوا عليها في تنظيم أعمالهم ومواسمهم. وحضرت الثريا بقوة في الشعر والأمثال الشعبية، ومن أشهر ما قيل فيها: “إذا طلعت النجم، افالحر في حدم، والعشب في حطم”، في وصف دقيق لشدة الحر وجفاف المراعي في تلك الفترة. كما ارتبطت بها عناصر مادية عديدة من التراث الإماراتي، مثل النخيل، والمقايظ، وأدوات الزراعة التقليدية، والملابس الصيفية الخفيفة، لتصبح الثريا رمزاً فلكياً وثقافياً يعكس علاقة الإنسان الإماراتي بالطبيعة والمواسم عبر الأجيال.

This element represents part of the social and cultural history of the community, enhancing its value as a distinctive component of local or national identity.

Continuity and Intergenerational Transmission: The element is passed from one generation to the next, either orally through stories, songs, and narratives, or practically through training and hands-on practice. This living process ensures the element’s survival and development over time, while maintaining its connection to its cultural roots.

Preserving the Element within the Living Community Context: The element derives its value from being actively practiced in people’s daily lives or within their rituals and social occasions. Preserving the element does not mean freezing it in time, but rather supporting it to continue in its original environment, while respecting its natural evolution within the community context.

Highlighting Cultural Diversity and Multiple Identities within the UAE:* The element reflects the variety of cultural and social backgrounds in the country, showing how differences in origins, dialects, and customs can integrate to form a unified and rich fabric. It contributes to highlighting tolerance and plurality, and enhances a deeper understanding of the diverse identities within a single nation.

Local Artistic or Technical Creativity: The element embodies creativity that originated from the local environment, whether in the materials used, methods of performance, or design patterns. This creativity may have developed collectively, reflecting how people interact with their surroundings and respond to their needs in an innovative way that expresses collective intelligence.
