Recommendation Letter for Golden Visa for Creatives

The UAE offers a long-term residence visa valid for five or ten years, automatically renewable for eligible categories, including investors, entrepreneurs, and specialised talents. This visa allows residents, expatriates, and their families to live, work, and study in the UAE without the need for a sponsor, while enjoying 100% business ownership

• Cultural Heritage: (Crafts, Arabic language, heritage preservation, heritage education, and research & exhibitions focused on tangible and intangible cultural heritage).
• Literature and Publishing: (Books, literature, poetry, and novels)
• Visual Arts and Design: (Video games, fine arts, sculpture, calligraphy, photography, digital arts, graphic design, product design, fashion and jewellery design, interior design, architecture, and sustainable products).
• Performing Arts and Theatre: (Theatre, opera, live performances, musical plays, film and television).
• Music: (Music production and distribution, musical shows, and musical concerts).

• Residents of the UAE.
• Foreign expatriates.
• Non-Emirati investors and entrepreneurs.
• Non-Emirati specialised talents.

Applicants for the Golden Visa under the category of Creative People of Culture and Art must meet the following criteria, supported by documented evidence:

• Nomination for, or receipt of, a prestigious global or regional award in the creative field.
• Holding an honorary position in a prestigious international organisation in recognition of distinguished artistic skills.
• Active membership of a prestigious international arts organisation or association.
• Creative works that have received widespread recognition from both the public and the media.
• Participation in prestigious forums locally, regionally, or globally, with works showcased at exhibitions, festivals, or other internationally recognised events.

1. Coloured personal photograph.
2. Copy of passport.
3. Copy of Emirates ID (if available).
4. CV including: Contact details – Biography – Prominent creative works - Key creative achievements.
5. Copy of current residency visa (if available).

• Additional Notes:
  For applicants who do not reside in the UAE, a six-month visa application is required to complete the Golden Visa procedures.
• If the applicant is residing in the UAE, the application must be submitted either by the applicant directly as a public service request or by the nominating entity.

Notice: 

• In specific cases and after revieing the submission form & evidence, you may be asked to additionally submit a recommendation letter from reputable creative/cultural entities, the Customer Happiness Department will contact you and provide you with the appropriate template “if needed”.
•  Applying for recommendation for golden visa for creatives from the Ministry of Culture is free of charge and there are no fees.
• If your request is denied, you cannot resubmit the application again until a period of no less than (6) months has elapsed.
