Periodic Subsidy - General Terms and Conditions

The grant is exclusively available for folk arts associations and theaters.

The cultural association must have been established and officially registered for at least one year.

Compliance with approved administrative rules and procedures is mandatory.

The association must demonstrate active presence through an annual operational plan.

The periodic grant shall not be awarded more than three consecutive times.

Eligibility Criteria for Periodic Subsidy

The extent of the cultural association’s financial need, assessed based on its actual financial deficit.

The grant amount will be equivalent to the financial deficit incurred, up to a maximum of AED 100,000.

Grants for projects of cultural associations - General Terms and Conditions

The cultural association must have been established and officially registered for at least two years.

Compliance with approved administrative rules and procedures is mandatory.

03

The association must demonstrate active presence through an annual operational plan.

04

Adherence to existing partnership requirements with the Ministry is required.

Eligibility Criteria -Grants for projects of cultural associations

Funding is granted for a future cultural program or project, aligned with the project plan and based on the association’s requested amount, not exceeding the maximum grant limit of AED 300,000.

1. Project Feasibility and Quality (20%)

The project’s concept and the strategic developmental objectives the cultural association aims to achieve.
The level of innovation and originality in program execution.
Expected outcomes and impact of the project deliverables.

2. Project Planning Quality (20%)

The quality of the project’s operational and financial planning.
Availability of human resources, partners, and target audiences for implementation.
Mechanism and steps for executing and reviewing the project’s work plan.

3. Project’s Added Value to the Association and its Members (30%):

The project's contribution to benefiting association members or the creative community (number of beneficiaries and the number of participating Emirati talents and creatives).
Expected tangible and intangible outcomes of the project.

4. Project’s Added Value to Society (30%):

The project’s contribution to the overall benefit of the community and the cultural landscape of the UAE.
To have a direct impact on achieving the national framework for cultural activities in schools and promoting cultural education.
