Distribution and Local Participation
A financial grant awarded to individual creators, aimed at covering the costs of publishing and promoting creative projects. It seeks to expand opportunities within the creative community and enable creators to share and distribute their work—such as through printing or performances—as well as to organize small-scale activities, including exhibitions, public programs, and artistic showcases. The grant offers up to AED 50,000.
Applications are reviewed based on three main criteria. Applicants must submit supporting documentation that clearly demonstrates their eligibility and the value of their proposed activities.

Grant Utilization
The grant can cover promotional costs such as project marketing-related fees such as branding, website development, campaign, and content creation. It can also cover fees for artists, performers, and production crews/companies, venue hire charges, supplier costs, equipment rental for events, gratuities, and fees for project support. The grant can also be utilized to cover other costs involved such as printing and binding costs of publications and associated participation costs in local fairs, festivals, events.
Requirements

Projects that portray artistic excellence, demonstrate unique perspectives or original concepts that will attract interest or have creative appeal

Applicants must have a strong portfolio/CV and successful track record that demonstrates artistic excellence

Project budget breakdown must be clear, realistic, and aligned with current market rates

Applicant’s background demonstrates an active contribution to the UAE’s cultural and creative industries scene

Applicant must have already received the required approvals or permits necessary to deliver the project

Project encourages consumption and/or attendance from large group of audiences

Project must deliver high impact and outcomes that will add value to the UAE’s cultural and creative industries sector nationally

Project addresses gaps in the UAE’s creative sector and increase visibility of locally produced artworks/creative projects
09
Project brings more opportunities to the sector or impact the wider creative community are encouraged
10
Participation opportunity must be from a recognized institution
How to apply:
Applicants should share the overall concept of their project along with its distribution/execution plan on the link below. Applicants should also enlist the collaborators/supporters who will contribute to the project as well as share a marketing and PR plan and obtain the required approvals to be prepared to implement or deliver the project.
Additional documents required:
- The general framework of the project, including a detailed explanation, initial and proposed prototypes such as a storyboard, images, written texts, illustrations, etc.
- Proof of invitation or acceptance to participate in the event.
- Required permits and approvals necessary to present the project as part of the participation opportunity.
