Documentation and archiving
Projects related to the preservation and documentation of cultural and artistic productions, as well as ensuring their sustainability as a reference for future generations, will receive funding under the ‘Documentation and Archiving’ category. This includes collecting, organising, digitising, and preserving creative materials in various forms. Applicants who qualify under this category can receive a financial grant of up to AED 100,000.
Grant Utilization
The ‘Documentation and Archiving Grant’ will empower creators to preserve and document cultural and artistic productions, ensuring their sustainability as a reference for future generations. This includes the creation of digital archives, conducting documented interviews, digitising recordings, preparing art catalogues, or publishing documentary books that contribute to the preservation of the UAE’s cultural heritage.

Submission Requirements
- The general framework of the project should include a detailed explanation, prototypes, and proposals, such as a script, images, written texts, drawings, etc.
- It should also include the necessary permits and approvals, which are needed to submit the project for documentation and archiving.
