اشتر الإبل على خلّاتها أي لا خيارَ لكَ في الإبلِ الأصيلةِ عندَ شرائِها، فكلُّها جيّدةٌ؛ ولكن لم يتمّ الاعتناءُ بها أو أنّها مريضة، ومتى تمَّ الاعتناءُ بها ستجودُ أو ستنتجُ إنتاجًا جيّدًا، ويُضرَبُ المَثلُ نصحًا في حيازةِ الإبلِ كما يُضرَبُ في التَّرغيبِ في اختيارِ الزَّوجةِ ذاتِ الحَسبِ والنَّسبِ في حالاتِ الزَّواج.
