الشباصة قطعة ذهبية تكون كشكل السمكة تصنع من الذهب الخالص ، تُثبت في الشعر لتثبيته وتزيينه. تأتي بأشكال متنوعة مصنوعة من الذهب أحيانًا مزينة بنقوش ، لتعكس الأناقة والذوق الفني للمرأة الإماراتية، وتُكمل الطقم التقليدي للزينة في المناسبات المختلفة، تُستخدم لتثبيت الشعر وتصفيفه، وكانت جزءًا أساسيًا من زينة المرأة الإماراتية في حياتها اليومية والمناسبات الاجتماعية، مثل الأعراس والاحتفالات التراثية. إضافة إلى وظيفتها العملية، تضيف الشباصة لمسة جمالية وأناقة للتسريحة، حيث كانت النساء يخترنها بحسب حجمها، شكلها، ونوع الزخرفة لتتناسب مع نوع التسريحة والمناسبة.
