قطعةٌ ذهبيَّةٌ على شكلِ مُثلَّثٍ لتغطّي منطقةَ الجبهةِ، وتتدلَّى منها قطعٌ صغيرةٌ مُثلَّثَةٌ متحرِّكةٌ من الذَّهبِ، كما يوجدُ بها سلسلةٌ طويلةٌ تصلُ حتَّى الأذنِ لشبكِ الحلقِ بـ"الهيار". ويحتوي "الشّناف" على سلاسلَ مُطعَّمةٍ باللُّؤلؤِ والأحجارِ الكريمةِ.تفاصيل الشناف:الشكل عادة ما يكون مثلث الشكل، ولكنه قد يكون هلاليًا أيضًا.المكان يوضع على مقدمة الرأس، ويتدلى ليغطي الجبين.الاستخدام يُعد جزءاً من زينة الشعر التقليدية وتُشبه بعض الأحيان الأساور أو القلائد
