Creative Spaces Program

About

The Ministry of Culture has established the Creative Spaces initiative to position the UAE as a leading model in the cultural and creative industries. Designed to nurture creativity and empower individuals, the program enhances the foundations for growth across the sector and strengthens the country’s role on the global cultural map.

Creative Spaces aim to enrich the experience of creatives by providing them with access to information, guidance, and studio facilities. By improving the efficiency of services and maximizing the use of available spaces, the initiative ensures that cultural practitioners are supported at critical stages of their practice.

At its core, the program seeks to integrate national efforts and projects that empower creatives in the fields of culture and the arts. Existing achievements are translated into a clear roadmap to secure the UAE’s leadership in the cultural and creative industries at all levels.

Equally important, Creative Spaces foster a shared work culture that encourages collaboration, alignment, and strong partnerships between the Ministry and relevant entities. This collaborative approach not only enhances the quality and availability of creative spaces within the Ministry’s own centers and partner institutions, but also ensures that facilities are continuously adapted to meet the evolving needs of creatives.

Through these efforts, the Creative Spaces initiative reinforces the UAE’s commitment to supporting artistic sustainability, empowering cultural practitioners, and shaping a resilient and innovative creative ecosystem for the future.
