National Grant Program for Culture and Creativity
Creation and Production
A financial grant that is designed to support individual creators in producing original, innovative artistic and creative work. The grant provides funding of up to AED 100,000 to help bring compelling ideas to life.
Applications are evaluated based on three criteria. Applicants are required to submit supporting documents that demonstrate their eligibility and the strength of their proposal.

Grant Utilization
The grant can be utilized in rental of equipment (such as technical audio/visual equipment, other specialized equipment), rental of space required for video/audio recording, material costs necessary to produce artistic work (props, supplies, costumes, art materials), professional service fees (research, editorial, consultancy, collaborator professional fees, etc.), and costs involved for post-production of projects.
Requirements

Projects that portray artistic excellence, demonstrate unique perspectives or original concepts that will attract interest or have creative appeal

Project planning and execution demonstrates professionalism and quality

Project budget breakdown must be clear, realistic, and aligned with current market rates

Project delivers strong outcomes that will add value to the UAE’s CCI sector

Applicants must have a strong portfolio/CV and successful track record that demonstrates artistic excellence.

Applicant’s background demonstrates an active contribution to the UAE cultural and creative industries scene
How to apply:
Applicants must be able to submit all the comprehensive documents in order to provide the grants assessment committee with a clear understanding of the details of the project and the resources required to deliver it.
The below are a sample list of supporting documents required but this will vary depending on the creative field requested:
Provide an overview of the project, including the concept, objectives, and proposed approach to implementation. Include any preliminary materials such as storyboards, reference images, written texts, sketches, or other visual or illustrative materials that help demonstrate the intended outcome of the project.
Permits and approvals required to implement and produce the project (if any)
A promotional video, if available.
