Ras Al Khaimah Cultural Centre was established in 2004 to provide an integrated range of cultural, artistic, and library services that meet the needs of various segments of the community, regardless of their age or educational and cultural backgrounds, through specialised programmes implemented as part of an annual plan that reflects its role in supporting cultural and creative development. The Centre focuses on empowering creatives and youth, strengthening Emirati national identity, and preserving cultural heritage, while also supporting the use of Arabic language through programmes and initiatives that encourage reading and reinforce its presence in society. The Centre also offers rental services for its various facilities, including the theatre and multi-purpose halls, for hosting and organising cultural and community events and programmes, serving government and private entities as well as individuals, and strengthening its role as an active cultural hub in the emirate.
